Finalmente vou abrir o meu atelier na floresta para aulas variadas. Iniciarei esta jornada com aulas de cestaria tradicional. Benvindos.

Exploraremos técnicas tradicionais variadas com o objectivo de criar uma linguagem criativa individual. De carácter prático, tradicional e experimental, as aulas serão, primeiramente, trabalhadas numa vertente mais tradicional, com a criação de uma peça utilitária. Assim será possível perceber o comportamento e manejo dos materiais, adquirindo-se assim alguma destreza nas técnicas. Seguirá posteriormente, a criação de um outro objecto numa exploração mais experimental, com uma perspectiva mais contemporânea e artística. Assim sendo criaremos até dois objectos com visões e abordagens distintas, que se poderão ou não complementar.
- A primeira aula será sobre teoria, história, materiais e iniciação do primeiro trabalho.
- A segunda aula será de continuação técnica e finalização do primeiro cesto. Criação de projeto e início da segunda peça.
- Na terceira aula os alunos dar-se-á seguimento ao trabalho e finalizarão as suas peças.
Existirão livros e peças para que os alunos consultem e se inspirem.

Há a liberdade de trazer materiais extra ou projectos específicos que queiram desenvolver nas aulas. Esta Oficina está disponível em português e inglês.

Finally I'm going to open my studio in the forest for varied classes. I will start this journey with traditional basket weaving classes. Welcome.

We will explore varied traditional techniques with the aim of creating an individual creative language. Practical, traditional and experimental in nature, the classes will first be worked on in a more traditional aspect, with the creation of a utilitarian piece. This way it will be possible to understand the behavior and handling of materials, thus acquiring some skill in the techniques. Later, the creation of another object will follow in a more experimental exploration, with a more contemporary and artistic perspective. Therefore, we will create up to two objects with different visions and approaches, which may or may not complement each other.
- The first class will be about theory, history, materials and initiation of the first work.
- The second class will be technical continuation and finishing the first basket. Project creation and start of the second piece.
- In the third class, students will continue their work and finish their pieces. There will be books and pieces for students to consult and be inspired.

There is the freedom to bring extra materials or specific projects that you want to develop in class.

This Workshop is available in Portuguese and English.
